Vac-Con Announces 2021 FCMA Awardees

Each year, the First Coast Manufacturer’s Association of Jacksonville, Florida hosts the Excellence Awards aimed at showing recognition and appreciation for employees in the manufacturing industry.

Vac-Con is a longstanding member of the FCMA and is proud to nominate and celebrate their employee-owners each year at this event. For 2021, Vac-Con is proud to announce our Excellence Awardees as Kevin Bessler and Zach Barger.

Kevin is our Technical Service Coordinator and provides exceptional service and support to the many dealers and end-users that operate Vac-Con units. In addition to providing training, Kevin travels to all ends of the earth to assist in unit delivery, in-service process, and maintenance. Kevin was nominated as an Excellence Awardee due to his focus on teamwork, motivation, and morale. Kevin uses his personable attitude to build extraordinary relationships with Vac-Con customers and exemplifies the Vac-Con mission every step of the way. Kevin is always willing to go the extra mile.

Zach was brought on for an entry-level position, but quickly advanced to a role in engineering due to his work ethic, drive, and attention-to-detail. As the COVID-19 pandemic made an impact on business and the workforce as a whole, Zach was requested back on the production floor. He took the move in stride and has excelled in all tasks assigned to him. Zach’s efforts helped Vac-Con achieve 2020 goals. Zach is considered to be a role model to employees in all departments.
