Wildeck’s structural steel platforms, made just 20 miles from Milwaukee, are in the spotlight as they support the cameras and media suites at the 2024 Republican National Convention. The locally manufactured platforms have captured the attention of both local and national media.
During the week of July 7th, 2024, Wildeck welcomed several news crews to its new 21.97-acre campus on the north side of Waukesha. Local reporters and their camera crews enjoyed an exclusive tour, witnessing firsthand the intricate process behind crafting the specially engineered structures being used at 2024 RNC. Each of the media crews that visited Wildeck later aired their stories during primetime evening news throughout the week.
Local Milwaukee-based news stations that featured the story during their evening segments included: WISN 12 News, FOX 6 News Milwaukee, Spectrum News 1 Wisconsin, and TMJ 4 News. The stories were later picked up by national outlets including AOL, Yahoo News, Yahoo Finance, and MSN.
